Hi, I'm Alexis Farah, Senior Associate Editor at dailyglow.com, and I'm here to tell you how to take a great picture.
嗨，我是 Alexis Farah，dailyglow.com 的資深副主編，我在此要來告訴你如何拍出一張很棒的照片。
You may have noticed that on the red carpet, celebrities always look tall, lean, and poised. Well, that's because they use these great tricks—which I'm about to teach you—
for posing and having your own red carpet moment. We've come up with this handy acronym to help you remember what to do before you take each picture. It's called "SHOT." Shoulders back, hands on your hips, one foot in front of the other, and tilt your head slightly.
Now, let's go through each of these one step at a time. First, shoulders back. Now, what this is gonna do is force you to stand up straight and look a little bit more poised. Next, put your hand on your hip. I like to call this a skinny arm, because it makes your arm looks skinny, and it also really carves out a nice space between your body and your arm. Next, put one foot in front of the other, feet pointed slighty outward. You'll look taller and thinner. But don't stand with your legs apart because you're gonna look like an outfielder. Finally, turn your head 30 to 40 degrees because usually this is the most flattering angle.
And once you've mastered all these easy pointers, you'll be ready for your close-up.
