Winning Is Not Everything
Today was sports day. We were all excited about it because we really wanted to win the relay race. I didn't run in the race because I hurt my knee. Ethan took my place. He and all the other runners ran very fast. "Go! Go! Go!" we cheered and shouted loudly.
In the end, however, our class lost. Some classmates cried. Ms. Chen said, "Winning is not everything. You guys tried your best. You're already the number one team to me!" I couldn't agree with her more!
